Up there in the clouds, where souls wait their turn to return to Earth, three large spheres of colored light stand out against the blurred and uncertain outline of the celestial landscape: they are three powerful vortices of different energies, that of Beauty, that of Good and that of Truth. Some also call the Good the Righteous, to try to appear less do-gooder. These “reserves” are considered very precious because they act as a point of union between heaven and earth: there, in heaven, they are found in their pure state, while on earth they take many different forms, depending on the nature of the person who brings them there and their ability to manifest them. But the important thing is that all, absolutely all souls arrive on Earth with their dose of Beautiful, Good and True well hidden in the depths of their core. Then it happens that some remember them and try, as well as they are able, to give them expression; others forget about it and then they will have to go back with the task not done, and try again.
In heaven the Beautiful, the Good and the True are there, at hand and in abundance, but they are fused into a whole, sphere by sphere: they have no possibility of expressing themselves in the varied forms that they can take on Earth. Every soul, before descending, draws on them as much as it can, knowing full well that the more these resources are available here below, the better.
Thus begins the long journey of the Beautiful, the Good and the True towards this planet of ours: the vehicles of this trip are us, the incarnated souls, who carry those three seeds of fire inside. Precisely of fire, because those three spheres are very high and are above all values and all qualities; indeed, these are the values and qualities that derive from the incarnated souls, each and every one like a spark struck by that world of fire, one and three.
This is how sparks descend into life: every soul that manages to keep them lit, not to let them go out along the journey, brings light into everything that lives, in every action, in every thought and in every feeling. This is how Culture was born, which not surprisingly means “cult of light”, where the little word “ur” means light.
Culture, seen in this way, has nothing to do with museums, libraries or monuments, without taking anything away from them. It is simply something much broader, and also more beautiful, better and more true. There is true Culture every time a human consciousness injects a spark from the three seeds of fire into its works, even the simplest, even in the everyday ones or even in those of a child.
Seen in this way, Culture becomes alive, born in life and all permeates it. We can then speak of Living Culture, where the three seeds of fire, the Beautiful, the Good and the True are basically the origin of Living Ethics, its root.
Living Culture is for everyone and belongs to everyone, and everyone can contribute to making it happen; provided they remember that their three seeds are waiting only to be brought into manifestation.
This is the elusive new era: everything that until now has been the prerogative of a few, well-selected and often even privileged, is now within everyone’s reach, in a great expansion of the field of possibilities. Everyone today can regain possession of his personal baggage of quality and, of light; and express it as he sees fit, in freedom and authenticity. In this way we will see the flourishing of a Culture made by many, even with small contributions of thought in every sector of human life. Only those expressions without sparks of Beauty, Good and True, or in which these sparks are too submerged in ancient grey areas, will remain outside what we can consider Culture.
It is the sense of the immanent divinity that advances, without detracting from the value and function of the transcendent divinity: the Beautiful, the Good and the True present from the beginning within every being, this is what the Christ Consciousness is! Already present, ready to come into the light of day, effortlessly and without renunciation; but through the awareness of the three seeds of fire that we have brought with us by incarnating.
Living Culture is created by Thought that knows how to fly free from the bonds of attachment to previous images of itself and of the world. It is nourished by reciprocity between beings, where each one lighting his own spark simultaneously ignites that of each other.
Living Culture can have, at least potentially, as many expressions as there are human beings, provided that the sacred root of being in the Beautiful, the Good and the True is respected.
In a few simple words, Beauty as a manifestation of the face of God on Earth; the Good as that which responds to the greatest good for the greatest number of people; the True as direct contact with “what is”, without astral and/or mental distortions.
If the Living Culture is the reflection on Earth of the Beautiful, the Good and the True, with all their declinations and specifications, and therefore is the effect of a descending process, it is equally true that contact with any form of Culture (note the capital C!) leads in turn to the Beautiful, the Good and the True.
It follows that we are called to do both: to create Culture with our purified and oriented Thought as a descending path, and to use Culture recognizing its true value as an ascending process. In both the ascending and descending moments, remember the three seeds of fire that we as souls have brought with us and implant them in the fertile soil of Life.
What if the spheres in our beloved Banner of Peace represented, yes, Art, Science and Religion, but on a deeper level, in their essence, the fiery seeds of the Beautiful, the True and the Good enclosed in the Living Ethics?
