Far from being an archaic, outdated concept Ethics provide the compass enabling Humanity to truly live in alignment with the principles of Truth, Beauty and Goodness.
What we mean by Ethics
Ethics are not rules but are dynamic, experiential, and transformative – they are an expression of consciousness and serve as the bridge between the present and a higher future.
Living according to ethical principles is an act of free will; an active, volitional process that can be applied in a practical and living way that works for the Common Good.

Why the Lighthouse
The lighthouse is a unifying metaphor representing ethical responsibility, guidance, and radiance in times of darkness – a stable structure offering the guardianship of light in darker times.

A few practical answers about dates, participation fees and how to join the “Ethics – Lighthouse for the future of Humanity” Conference.
The Conference explores Ethics not as an abstract discipline, but as a living force capable of guiding each of our choices at this time of transition for Humanity. Through a co-creative group process, we will ask ourselves how we can become the lighthouse that radiates this Ethics into everyday life.
Taking part in this Conference helps you explore Ethics as a living force within you, in a co-creative experience shared with other participants and enriched by the speakers’ contributions. With the support of the group field, you’ll also be able to more consciously align your aspirations and everyday choices towards a brighter future for Humanity.
The Conference runs from 20 to 22 November 2026, each day from 15:00 to 21:00 CET, for a total of three days of online work.
The Conference is entirely online: all you need is a computer or device with an internet connection. The link and materials will be made available on the participant page, accessible after registration.
In three simple steps: 1) choose your participation fee among the options available; 2) register through the Fondazione Etica Vivente ETS app, following the guided steps (if this is your first activity with us, your details will be saved to set up your personal account); 3) pay the fee online during registration, or choose bank transfer and complete registration afterwards. You will receive a confirmation email together with the invoice for your payment. You can register directly from <a href=”https://www.centro-ev.org/convegno/convegno-ol-etica-faro-per-il-futuro-dell-umanita” target=”_blank” rel=”noopener”>this page</a>.
The “Participant” fee is €90 with the Early Bird rate active from 1 to 30 September 2026 (full price €120). For those up to 26 years old, the Early Bird fee is €60 (full price €90). An optional “Supporter” fee of €200 is also available for those who wish to support the Foundation with a larger contribution. Both fees include access to all three days of the Conference, the participant page with materials, translation in English language, and the event’s PDF programme.
If you have financial difficulties that make it hard to attend, please write to events@eticavivente.org so we can discuss a scholarship together;
The Conference is held in Italian and English, with Italian simultaneous translation included in the participation fee.
The journey unfolds in three stages: Day 1 – “Gathering the Light”, dedicated to the deeper meaning of Ethics and its foundations (the Good, the True, the Beautiful); Day 2 – “Building the Lighthouse”, exploring Ethics in public life, in society, and among the younger generations; Day 3 – “Becoming the Lighthouse”, focused on the practical application of Living Ethics and a collective Design Forum on the future. Each day runs from 15:00 to 21:00 CET.
The Conference is organised by Fondazione Etica Vivente ETS, in partnership with the Comunità di Etica Vivente.

ABOUT PRICING AND GIFT ECONOMY
For those who have participated in our conferences before you will notice that this year we have returned to fixed prices.
This approach is necessary under the rules of being an organisation in the Third Sector here in Italy which in our case is represented by being a Foundation,
We still believe deeply in the gift economy as it allows all to participate regardless of economic means.
For this reason, if anyone has any difficulty participating for economic reasons please contact us on events@eticavivente.org and we will explore bursary options with you. You will see we have included a support price which will facilitate such opportunities for others.

PRICES
The main price shown covers most but not all of the costs that we will have in hosting this conference. We would welcome any additional donation that you feel you can make to help us cover all the costs – you can do this by using the Supporter payment button to register. If you are 25 years old or less, you are eligible for the Young Persons rate
CANCELLATION POLICY
If you find you need to cancel your booking, you will be entitled to a full refund up to 15 days before the event. For subsequent cancellations, 25% of the cost will be retained.
