In the Wisdom of all ages the phrase “energy follows thought” describes a core principle: the creative power of directed consciousness. It teaches that our psychic energy – the fundamental fire of space – is instantly shaped, drawn, and mobilized by the focus of our minds and the state of our hearts.

  • Thought as a Magnet: our thoughts act as a magnetic current that attracts cosmic energy. Because energy follows thought, a pure, concentrated idea will precipitate into reality.
  • The power of the heart: it is not just the intellect that directs this energy, but the “fire of the heart”. A thought backed by sincere feeling is vastly more potent.
  • Living Ethics: because our thoughts literally shape the surrounding energy, Agni Yoga emphasizes responsible thinking. It treats consciousness and directed thought not as passive states, but as daily, practical actions that impact both the individual and the world.

On these bases, but not only, CREATIVE MEDITATION was brought alive (by Roberto Assagioli) as a new practice, a synthetic way of living, through which to become the conscious co-creators of the ideal world in which we would like to live, and in so doing to fully honor our life on this planet.

Creative Meditation gives the instruments/means to find and stand consciously in a point of subtle, inner focussed presence from which we can choose and direct our thoughts, emotions, desires; by recognizing and stepping out from unconscious reactive patterns we can use our creative inner power to re-shape our lives.  But not only. 

Through the power of CREATIVE IMAGINATION we can foresee and imbue our thoughts with the most positive aspirations and desires for the greatest good of all humanity and all Realms of Nature; and these in turn will attract magnetic currents that will bring into manifestation the desired conditions.

Every human being has a deep desire to be happy, to be at peace within and in relation to the outside world; and even if layers of conditioned experiences have brought about a distortion on the outer appearance, there is still a “creative tool” we have at our disposal, to find our inner centre of awareness and create the inner and outer conditions we all dream of. 

And where can we start from?

IMAGINING THE WORLD IN WHICH WE WOULD LIKE TO LIVE. 

As we proceed in unfolding our true divine nature as human beings, we gradually become aware of the power of the SPIRITUAL PRINCIPLES and LAWS that overlight and govern all Life, a source of Light and Love, named as: 

The Principle of Essential Divinity (all Life is sacred)

The Principle of Unanimity (the reality of the Soul)

The Principle of Goodwill (the ever-present power of Love)

And the way to allow the precipitation of these energies on us, on the Planet, named as:

The Law of Spiritual Approach (invocation, evocation)

The Law of Group Endeavour (unity in diversity)

The Law of Right Human Relations (loving kindness in action)

So we have a source of very practical and accessible resources to fuel our creative imagination.

Man has no right to produce chaos and cause harm to the manifested world. You must remember and understand that each good thought begets goodness, and each dark thought is a cradle of evil.

….Thus, man should not become a sower of destructive forces. Let everyone think about creating good. When people think scientifically they will understand the laws of ethics.
